Tai Chi (Taijiquan)

 
Title: Reflexology  

Tai Chi (aka Taijiquan), essentially a Chinese martial art, has long been adapted as a gentle, effective health exercise. It has been described as poetry in motion and meditation in movement. Practised properly, it can:

  • increase one's suppleness
  • tone muscles
  • correct posture
  • improve breathing and
  • deepen awareness of one’s body and mind.

Andrew teaches Tai Chi as a form of exercise. There are various schools of Taijiquan and many routines. Beginners will start with the Yang 24 routine. Other routines taught are Yang 88, Wu/Hao 42, Wu 108 and Zhaobao 108.
